Six Loudoun wrestlers advance to semifinals

Loudoun County High School's Logan Smith and Hunter Day, Dominion's Brandon Thein, Briar Woods' Michael Hulcher, Park View's Ronald Cruz and Woodgrove's Chris Walker have advanced to the semifinal round at the Virginia AA state wrestling tournament.

All six wrestlers went 2-0 on the first day of competition Feb. 15 at the Salem Civic Center. Zach Causey and Tad Haugen of Potomac Falls, and Woodgrove's Dylan O'Connor have also advanced to day two of the tournament.

The state tournament continues Feb. 16 in Salem. Here is a look at how all the Loudoun AA wrestlers fared on the first day.
