Tuscarora High School senior Alex Bailey scored his 1,000th career point during the 2017 Henrico Holiday Basketball Classic.

Bailey reached the milestone in the first quarter of a Dec. 29 game versus host Henrico. He finished the game with 10 points, eight assists and three rebounds.

Bailey becomes the second varsity boys' basketball player in school history to score 1,000 career points.

Kyle Copeland, now a freshman guard at the College of the Holy Cross, holds Tuscarora's program record with 1,240 career points.
