Varsity Volleyball Rewind: Sept. 23-27 matches

Briar Woods, Broad Run, Dominion, Heritage, Loudoun County and Potomac Falls prevailed in varsity matches Wednesday night. Stone Bridge won matches on consecutive days Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

-Briar Woods 3, Tuscarora 0

-Heritage 3, Loudoun Valley 0

-Potomac Falls 3, Rock Ridge 2

-Broad Run 3, Freedom 1

-Loudoun County 3, Park View 0 (25-7, 25-5, 25-6)

The Loudoun County Raiders hosted the Patriots of Park View, winning in straight sets. The Raiders (11-0) will be back in action Oct. 3 at home versus crosstown rival Heritage.

-Dominion 3, Riverside 1

Dominion prevailed in four sets versus Riverside in a Dulles District match. Dominion will host its fourth annual Military and First Responders Appreciation Night on Oct. 5 in the school gymnasium.

Dominion invites service men and women currently serving or retired, as well as our Sheriff, Police, Fire and EMS to attend the appreciation ceremony at approximately 6:30 p.m. and stick around for the Titans' varsity match versus Heritage.
