VHSL State Basketball Championships Schedule

The Loudoun Valley Vikings are one of 24 varsity teams that will play for a Virginia High School League State Basketball Championship this week.

Teams will vie for state supremacy in boys' and girls' basketball in six classifications, starting Thursday afternoon in Richmond.

Four state title games will be contested each day - Thursday through Saturday - at the Siegel Center, on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.

Loudoun Valley will play Jamestown in the Group 4A boys' championship game Friday at 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 9
1A Girls (Parry McCluer vs. George Wythe-Wytheville), 2:30 p.m.
1A Boys (George Wythe-Wytheville vs. Radford), 4:30 p.m.
2A Girls (Martinsville vs. Central-Wise), 6:30 p.m.
2A Boys (Amelia County vs. Robert E. Lee-Staunton), 8:30 p.m.

Friday, March 10
3A Girls (Magna Vista vs. Broadway), 2:30 p.m.
3A Boys (Northside vs. I.C. Norcom), 4:30 p.m.
4A Girls (Monacan vs. King's Fork), 6:30 p.m.
4A Boys (Loudoun Valley vs. Jamestown), 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 11*
5A Girls (Princess Anne vs. Highland Springs), 11 a.m.
5A Boys (L.C. Bird vs. Bethel), 1 p.m.
6A Girls (Colonial Forge vs. Oakton), 4:45 p.m.
6A Boys (W.T. Woodson vs. C.D. Hylton), 6:45 p.m.

*All fans must clear the arena after the 5A boys final.
