VHSL state volleyball tournament scoreboard

The Loudoun County Raiders (Class 4) and the Tuscarora Huskies (Class 5) each won Virginia High School League state volleyball tournament semifinal matches Tuesday night to punch their tickets for Saturday's state finals.

Loudoun County swept Millbrook on the road, while Tuscarora outlasted North Stafford in five sets at home.

Tuscarora will play in the state final for the first time. Loudoun County has won a VHSL-record nine state championships in the last 10 years.

Both state championship matches are set for Nov. 18 at the Siegel Center, on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Loudoun County will square off with Grafton in the Class 4 title match at 5 p.m., with Tuscarora versus Princess Anne in the Class 5 championship to follow at approximately 7 p.m.
