Loudoun Valley (Group 4A), Tuscarora (5A) and Briar Woods (5A) high schools each rank among the top five in the Virginia High School League Wells Fargo Cup Standings following the conclusion of the varsity winter sports season.

The winner of the Wells Fargo Cup is determined by a point system based on performance in state championship events. Points are awarded for all sanctioned sports, ranging from 50 points for first place to 15 points for eighth place.
