Fast-casual southern restaurant Zaxby's, known for its chicken tenders and crinkle fries, will open its first Loudoun County location Sept. 16.
The 3,500-square-foot Chantilly eatery, which can seat up to 70 patrons, is located at 43820 Eastgate Shoppes Drive.
“We are very excited to finally bring the Zaxby’s brand and future locations to Chantilly and Loudoun County,” licensee Duran Lawson, who owns the local location with his wife Felipa Lawson and business partner Andre Roberts, said in a prepared statement. “Serving our fresh chicken fingers, buffalo wings and Zalads to Loudoun County is something we have been working toward for several years.”
Five more Loudoun locations are in the works, according to Zaxby's officials. The Georgia-based company has more than 900 restaurants across 17 states.
The first 100 guests at the Chantilly opening will receive Zaxby’s Deck of 52 Dealz. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.
The Loudoun restaurant will provide between 50-60 jobs in the Chantilly area, company officials said.
“We look forward to working with the local community, schools and businesses,” said Lawson, who has been a licensee since 2016.
Construction of the Chantilly Zaxby’s began in March and was led by local engineering firm Tri-Tek Engineering.
