Crooked Run Beers

Two recent releases from Crooked Run Brewing, which has locations in Leesburg and Sterling.

Visit Loudoun and the Loudoun County Brewers Association will launch the inaugural LoCo Beer Week starting June 22.

More than 30 breweries along the LoCo Ale Trail will host events, beer releases and specials in their tasting rooms to celebrate the week.

Additionally, local restaurants will host LoCo Beer Week tap takeovers and specials. The week will begin with a LoCo Beer Brunch at Leesburg Public House restaurant. On June 26, the LoCo Ale Trail will head to Roofer’s Union in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C., with a tap takeover and live broadcast on iHeart Radio’s DC101. Additional tap takeovers -- an event featuring numerous selections from one brewery -- are scheduled at King Street Oyster Bar, Hops N Shine, Blackfinn Ameripub and Kettles & Grains. The week’s celebration will culminate at Chefscape with a dozen Loudoun breweries pouring their beer to be paired with Chefscape offerings.

Guests will be able to check-in on social media throughout the week using the #LoCoBeerWeek hashtag. They will be eligible to win the grand prize of a guided tasting with a Loudoun Farm-to-Table Beer Pairing Dinner. A list of LoCo Beer Week events can be found at VisitLoudoun.org/drink/loco-ale-trail/. Additional events are still being finalized.

Loudoun County is home to the highest concentration of breweries in Virginia.
