After celebrating five years in Purcellville, Anytime Fitness is expanding and moving to a new location in February.
The fitness center is heading across the street to the former Shop-n-Save space on Main Street, which is being divided among three new tenants – Anytime Fitness, Blue Ridge Hospice and the Dollar Tree.
“We have outgrown our current facility, and we were at the point where we needed more space,” said Anytime Fitness franchise manager Ebony Bright.
The new location will provide nearly double the square footage, new equipment, a larger training turf area and additional parking. Bright said they are also upgrading the programs, which focus on coaching with small group and team training.
“We are able to reach about 50 people a day. This is the best way for us to help people with health and fitness, through this type of training,” Bright said.
Anytime Fitness has 4,200 locations around the world that are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Purcellville facility is owned by Minnesota-based franchise executive Reid Bradley and managed locally by Bright and Amber Hinson.
“Each franchise is different based on the programs we provide,” Bright said.
One of the most popular programs is the six-week challenge that provides participants with a meal plan, a food coach and fitness training.
“It's a great way to kick start your training program,” Bright said. " ... We are always looking for better ways to serve the community. We are looking to grow in 2020."
