Purcellville's annual Wine and Food Festival July 13

The Purcellville Wine and Food Festival, one of the town's signature annual events, will take place this Saturday at Dillon's Woods next to Fireman's Field from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The festival features eight local wineries, 10 food vendors, nine artisans and three brewing companies. There will also be live music, face painting and other activities.

Also on site will be the Purcellville Arts Council, which is hosting "Arts in the Garden," where local artists will demonstrate their creative process.

General admission tickets to the festival are $30 and include a souvenir glass and two tasting tickets. Tickets for designated drivers and those under 21 are $5. VIP tables are $250 and include a table for six, three bottles of local wine, six souvenir glasses, 12 tasting tickets and early entry to the festival. As part of Visit Loudoun’s Summer of Love tour, the decked-out vintage VW tour bus will be at the festival for photo-ops and giveaways.

The Purcellville Wine and Food Festival is hosted by the Town of Purcellville and sponsored by Allstate-Sengpiehl Insurance Group, Browning Equipment, Comfort Suites Leesburg, Dental Smiles, Harris Teeter, Loudoun Cares, Valley Energy and Visit Loudoun.
