Bluemont Vineyards | Wedding

Bluemont Vineyard is among western Loudoun's popular wedding venues.

Couples preparing for their special day will be able to meet with nearly 100 wedding-related businesses at the Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase, a new event that will take place March 15 from noon to 5 p.m. at West Belmont Place at The National Conference Center in Leesburg.

Hosted by Visit Loudoun and FNP Events, Love Loudoun is designed to highlight Loudoun-based wedding venues and professionals, though it's expected to attract couples and wedding organizers from D.C., Maryland and West Virginia.

"The wedding industry contributes more than $118 million to Loudoun's economy annually and continues to grow," Visit Loudoun President and CEO Beth Erickson said in a prepared statement. "With everything from historic settings and vineyards to modern ballrooms, Loudoun has one of the most diverse offerings of wedding venues in the D.C. region. This Wedding Showcase will give couples a chance to meet with dozens of wedding vendors all under one roof.”

Visit Loudoun previously hosted the Weddings in Loudoun Open House event, a self-guided tour of Loudoun wedding venues.

Alongside the array of vendors, the Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase will include several special events and activities including a bridal fashion show, photography sessions, selfie stations and a lounge area as well as tastings for beer, wine and food.

"Loudoun County is an extraordinarily beautiful area, perfect for a magical wedding, and the wedding professionals here have embraced the opportunity that the Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase presents," FNP Events Director Connie Hastings said in a prepared statement. "We look forward to providing our full event management and marketing support, and we are pleased to welcome West Belmont Place as the sponsoring venue."

Tickets start at $10, with VIP tickets available for $25. VIP ticket holders will have exclusive access to the event's first hour, while the event will open to general admission ticket holders at 1 p.m.

The Loudoun Times-Mirror is a partner on the project.
