A man was arrested Dec. 6 for allegedly robbing a victim at gunpoint in Ashburn three days earlier.
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office officials say the victim was approached by a male who was known to him in a parking lot near the 20300 block of Susan Leslie Drive around 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 3.
The suspect reportedly displayed a firearm and demanded the victim get in his vehicle.
Officials say the suspect again brandished the firearm once inside the vehicle and took the victim's wallet and jacket before fleeing.
The victim reported the incident to the LCSO on Dec. 4. and said his credit card was used after the alleged robbery for an attempted online purchase.
Authorities, who say the robbery appears to be drug-related, identified a suspect during the investigation and took him into custody Friday.
Abel I. Guobadia, 20, of Ashburn, was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
As of Tuesday morning, Guobadia was being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
