A man was arrested in Ashburn early Saturday after allegedly committing two hit-and-runs while impaired, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 12:22 p.m. to the intersection of Milestone Square and Broad Vista Terrace for reports of a suspicious man who had driven away in a vehicle.
Authorities soon received notice of two hit-and-run incidents nearby and were able to locate the suspect, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
Stephen C. Cataldo, 35, of Ashburn, was charged with driving while intoxicated and hit-and-run.
After being transported to an area hospital for his injuries, Cataldo was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he was being held as of Tuesday afternoon.
