A man was arrested in Sterling Wednesday morning after allegedly stealing a vehicle, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 9:44 a.m. to the 46000 block of Loudoun Park Lane for reports that a victim's car keys and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken while he was at a local gym.
Authorities later observed a male driving the reportedly stolen vehicle on Potomac View Road and conducted a traffic stop.
Alessandro T. Brunelli, 20, of Ashburn, was charged with grand larceny auto theft, grand larceny and driving with a suspended license.
He was being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond as of Thursday afternoon.
