A woman was arrested in Ashburn Monday afternoon after an alleged assault, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
The female victim reported the incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. in the 20000 block of Sprucegrove Square and involved a known person striking and strangling her.
Per authorities, deputies found obvious signs of trauma on the victim and took the female suspect into custody.
Naseba O. Mutib, 26, of Ashburn, was charged with assault and strangulation.
As of Tuesday, she was being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
