The death of a woman in an Ashburn home Thursday, Dec. 30 is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, identified as 57-year-old Najat Chemlali Goode, was found unresponsive by a family member shortly before 8:30 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 23200 block of Connie Marie Terrace before being transported to StoneSprings Hospital Center.

Goode’s death is being investigated in coordination with LCSO detectives as well as the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, according to a Friday press release.

Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have released a composite sketch in connection with the Dec. 30 homicide in the Ashburn area and are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify the subject who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Sheriff’s office officials said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
