Sterling Supervisor Koran Saines (D) will host a back-to-school supply drive to assist children and families in the Sterling community. The drive will run through Aug. 16 before school starts on Aug. 22.

Items requested include backpacks, writing utensils, paper, notebooks, index cards, glue, tape, rulers, eraser, binders, calculators and other school supplies.

Drop-off locations include Sweet Signatures at 22446 Davis Dr. #174 in Sterling; the Sterling Library at 22330 S. Sterling Blvd., Suite A117; Daybreak Kitchen & Biscuit Company/Nectar Cocktail Bar at 22455 Davis Dr., Suite 133, in Sterling; Joe's Pizzeria at 22360 S. Sterling Blvd., #103, in Sterling; and the Sterling Community Center at 120 Enterprise St.
