Leesburg Town Hall
Times-Mirror/Graham CullenLeesburg’s Department of Economic Development launched a new website, according to a release from the town this week.
Those interested can find the website at chooseleesburg.com.
According to the release, the website doubles as the town’s primary marketing tool and as a resource for businesses, residents and visitors to find information about business-related news in the town.
In the release, Director Russell Seymour said the website will be a useful tool for event calendars and business directories, among other uses.
“In many cases, a website provides the first impression of your locality,” Seymour is quoted as saying in the release. “The new website is designed to provide a significant amount of important information in a quick and easy manner, while highlighting the quality of life we enjoy in Leesburg.”
The site also features information for tourists, including events and information on sights to see, places to visit, grab a bite to eat and stay for the night.
