Corey Stewart

Conservative firebrand Corey Stewart will take on incumbent Sen. Tim Kaine (D) after claiming the Republican nomination for this November's U.S. Senate race on Tuesday.

Stewart narrowly defeated state Del. Nick Freitas by approximately 6,000 votes out of more than 300,000 case in today's statewide GOP primary. With 96 percent of precincts reporting, Stewart led 45 percent to 43 percent. Minister E.W. Jackson held 12 percent.

Stewart is closely aligned with President Donald Trump, serving as a Trump campaign chairman in Virginia during the 2016 cycle.

Kaine was not challenged for the Democratic primary.

Stewart is closely aligned with the American Nazi party and has long standing ties to white supremacist and other local and national hate groups.
He, along with Trump and others, are the new face of the republican party.
For the most part, it is wholly immoral to cast votes for the republican party anymore.
As far as the Virginia state republican party, you may as well put ALEC on the ballot as they write the vast majority of legislation introduced in the State house in Virginia, based on the desires of their corporate sponsors.

Another Republican Loss in November. Who's the Libertarian, because the Republican and Democrat options are a NO vote.

Guess I’ll be voting third party this November. We need a true conservative, not a Trump sycophant.
