Loudoun residents approved nearly $400 million in bonds to renovate and repair schools, fire and rescue facilities, parks and community centers as well as construct and road extensions at currently congested thoroughfares.

At the request of the Loudoun School Board, the county asked if they could issue $266.24 million in debt to design, construct and secure Dulles North High School’s security system, renovate Park Valley High School, and other renewals in the school system.

So if the budget is 1.6 billion dollars and you add these spending bills od 400 million that have been passed only the funding mechanism is in dispute, we actually have a Loudoun County Budget of 2 billion dollars.
