A woman was arrested in Sterling early Monday after allegedly attempting a burglary, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 12:50 a.m. to the 47000 block of Watkins Island Sq. for a report of the incident.
Along with marks on the front door consistent with attempted forced entry, authorities reportedly located broken glass from a sliding door.
Per the LCSO, a female suspect — with whom the residents were acquainted — entered the residence, leading the four occupants to flee upstairs and call the authorities.
Roxanna L. Jett, 51, of Great Falls, was charged with burglary and disorderly conduct.
As of Monday afternoon, she was being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
