Greenly to step down from Purcellville Town Council

Ted Greenly has served on Purcellville Town Council since November 2017.

Purcellville Town Councilman Ted Greenly announced on Thursday that he is resigning from the town council after serving in the role since November of 2017, when he filled a vacancy left by Kelli Grim.

Greenly said in a released statement that he plans to resign his seat in the coming weeks when he retires from the federal government at the end of May — a career spanning a combined 40 years serving in the U.S. Army and Federal service.

Greenly said his family is planning to move away from Purcellville to a another community in late June.
