A Herndon man is facing several charges in Loudoun County after a police pursuit in Sterling early Friday.
Jeff W. Dossman, 30, has been charged with his second driving while intoxicated, eluding law enforcement, hit and run and driving without a valid license.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 46300 block of Potomac Run Plaza in Sterling around 1:15 a.m. for a suspicious vehicle with the driver slumped over the steering wheel.
Authorities say Dossman fled the scene when deputies attempted to make contact. During the pursuit, Dossman reportedly mounted several curbs and struck a parked vehicle before coming to a stop.
Dossman was being held Friday morning at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
