Rt. 50 crash // 10-3-20

A woman died at StoneSprings Hospital Center on Oct. 3 after a motorcycle crash on Route 50 in Dulles.

A woman died in Dulles Oct. 3 after being thrown from a motorcycle on Route 50 near Stone Springs Boulevard, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Fereshteh R. Roshan, 49, of Herndon, succumbed to her injuries at StoneSprings Hospital Center.

Authorities said a male was driving a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound around 7:04 p.m. with Roshan as a passenger when he crested a hill and struck a 2014 Nissan Sedan that had stopped for a red light.

The driver was also reportedly thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries, for which he was taken to Reston Hospital.

Per the LCSO, the driver of a nearby BMW that was also struck during the crash was taken to StoneSprings, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
