The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Ashburn crash which left one mad dead Sunday morning.

According to a release from LCSO, the driver and only occupant of a 2012 Honda Accord lost control of his vehicle shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Sunday while traveling on Gloucester Parkway near Ringold Drive.

The driver’s vehicle ran off the roadway, causing the car to roll over. According to the release, the driver, identified as a 29-year-old man from Ashburn, was pronounced dead on the scene. Further identifying information about him has not been released.

According to the release, the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Any potential witnesses who have not already spoken with law enforcement are asked to call Investigator T. Bradley of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit at 703-777-1021.
