A man was arrested in Ashburn Sunday night after allegedly driving while impaired, eluding law enforcement and causing a crash, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies reportedly initiated a traffic stop on the suspect's vehicle around 11:16 p.m. near the 21000 block of Kings Crossing Terrace in Ashburn.
Per the LCSO, the driver did not stop and continued to drive well over the speed limit, though he stopped after he failed to negotiate a turn and crashed.
Birame E. Sene, 23, of Leesburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated — his second such offense — as well as driving without a license and eluding law enforcement.
As of Monday afternoon, Sene was awaiting a bond review at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
