Suspect photo: Loudoun Checks Cashed robbery

The unidentified suspect reportedly robbed Loudoun Checks Cashed Friday morning.

The Leesburg Police Department is investigating an armed robbery Friday morning of Loudoun Checks Cashed in the 20 block of Plaza Street Southeast.

The incident occurred at the check-cashing business around 11:15 a.m., after which the suspect reportedly fled on foot, according to LPD officials.

Authorities describe the suspect as an adult man with a skinny build who was wearing green pants and a green hooded sweatshirt.

Leesburg Police ask the public to remain vigilant as the investigation continues. Information about the suspect can be reported to the LPD at 703-443-8477, according to the department's website.
