A Leesburg woman was arrested Friday night for disorderly conduct and assault on law enforcement, according to Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office officials.
Deputies responded at 10:49 p.m. on July 19 to reports of an intoxicated female who was attempting to regain entry into a restaurant at the 20500 block on Easthampton Plaza in One Loudoun.
Shelby Bruce, 22, of Leesburg, was reportedly screaming threats toward security staff and deputies. While she was being taken into custody she assaulted two deputies while resisting arrest, according to the LCSO.
Bruce was charged with two counts of assault on law enforcement, disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice, hindering a deputy and public intoxication. She was later released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $2,000 secured bond.
