A Linden man was arrested in Ashburn Saturday morning after allegedly driving while intoxicated, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
LCSO deputies received reports around 3:10 a.m. of a suspicious vehicle stopped on the side of the roadway near the 20900 block of Ashburn Road.
A male and female were found asleep in the vehicle. The male, who was sitting in the driver's seat, was reportedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Nicholas E. Cruz, 32, was charged with driving while intoxicated — his third offense — and refusal to provide a breath test, his second offense.
As of Monday evening, the suspect was being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
