Loudoun County on Friday announced that two COVID-19 testing events scheduled for next week would be held in Purcellville, according to a County news release.
Officials said the next two testing events, scheduled for January 25 and 28, will be held at Franklin Park, which is located at 17501 Franklin Park Drive in Purcellville. both events will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
As with other testing events, both operations may begin early to mitigate traffic impacts and it may close early if capacity is reached.
The testing events are free and open to all. There are no age or residency requirements. No prescriptions or appointments are necessary. A person does not have to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 to be tested. A PCR test (nasal swab) will be administered, which tests for the novel coronavirus. No antibody or rapid tests will be offered.
No COVID-19 vaccine will be available at the testing events.
The required registration form may be filled out and submitted online prior to the test. Paper forms will also be available at the testing site.
