Loudoun County is asking local youth, their parents and those who interact with young people for suggestions on how to improve youth services and activities by taking part in a brief survey. County officials hope the survey results will help the county as it works to develop high-quality, inclusive activities for younger residents.
The county has established a Youth Net Committee that includes more than 20 people representing government, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, philanthropy, business and youth. The goal is to create a more formalized and structured public-private approach to youth services in Loudoun.
In addition to conducting the survey, the Youth Net Committee plans to hold a Youth Summit followed by a presentation of findings, concerns and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors in the fall. The survey will be active through June 30. More information, including a link to the survey, is available at Loudoun.gov/youthnet.
