Loudoun Public Schools Administration Building

The Loudoun County Public Schools administration building in Ashburn.

With wintry weather expected to hit the area, Loudoun County Public Schools will close all facilities and has canceled all distance-learning and hybrid classes for Thursday, Feb. 18, according to school system officials.

Food pickup at LCPS schools and other on-campus activities have been canceled, and the point of distribution (POD) for employee COVID-19 vaccinations at Brambleton Middle School in Ashburn will be closed.

Officials said all employees who were scheduled to receive their second dose of the vaccine on Thursday will have their appointments honored at an undetermined later date.

For employees who wish to reschedule their appointments themselves, there are currently available vaccination slots on March 4 and 5.

This is the fourth LCPS closure this month due to inclement weather.
