Loudoun County authorities say a volunteer with the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System was arrested today after an investigation determined he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile he met during his duties with the Hamilton Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Jacen N. Martin, 23, of Purcellville, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of child pornography. The inappropriate contact with the juvenile came to light on June 22, and Martin was immediately suspended from the fire and rescue system, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
The age and gender of the juvenile are not being released to protect the identity of the victim, according to the LCSO.
The investigation was conducted by the sheriff's office's Special Victims Unit.
Martin has been released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $2,500 secured bond.
