Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office authorities say they are investigating a reported indecent exposure in the Brambleton area on Wednesday and are working to determine if it is connected to a similar case reported last spring.
On Oct. 10, the victim reported she was walking in the south parking garage of the Brambleton Town Center around 5 p.m. when she observed an unclothed man standing in the stairwell. The suspect was observed simulating a sexual act, according to the LCSO. The suspect was described as a white man with dark brown hair and dark brown facial hair of medium build and height.
The victim had no contact with the suspect, who was not located after an LCSO search.
Detectives with the LCSO believe the case may be connected to a similar incident that occurred in the same area on April 8. In that incident, a teenage victim was in the north parking garage of the Brambleton Town Center around 6:30 p.m. when she observed an unknown man who was unclothed behind her car. The suspect appeared to be performing a sexual act. The victim drove away and had no contact with the suspect, according to reports.
During the April 8 investigation, a composite sketch of the suspect was developed and released to the public.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect's possible identity is asked to contact Detective S. Smith with the LCSO Special Victims Unit at 703-777-1021. Tipsters can also submit a tip through the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office app, which is available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
