Sugarland Robbery

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating a convenience store robbery that occurred shortly after midnight Thursday.

Sheriff's deputies responded to the 7-Eleven in the 46700 block of Sugarland Run Drive around 12:38 a.m. for a report of a robbery.

According to the LCSO, two men entered the store with their faces covered. They reportedly came around the front counter and pushed an employee toward the register and demanded he open it. One suspect removed cash from the register while the second removed money from the victim's wallet.

The aggressors threatened to hurt the employee if he called the police.

One suspect was described as wearing a green hoodie, white pants, red shoes with white accents and a light blue shirt.

The second suspect was wearing a dark blue puffy jacket, dark colored pants and dark shoes.

Both men were described as being approximately six-feet-tall.

No weapons were displayed during the robbery.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact Detective S. Coderre at 703-777-1021.

I thought most of these 7-11s had cameras?

If their faces were covered and clothes covered the skin how would they tell the police the suspects ethnic background? Typical Right Wing loves to play victim and blame the media for everything

They gave a detailed description of the clothes and the height, but no mention of hair color or skin color. I would think those are some what critical descriptors. Could be a white guy with red hair, or dreads. Either way it would narrow the field.

It's time for the LTM to hire a real editor and teach these kids how to report news. The description of suspects lacks the most important descriptor. What color were these Martians that commited the crime? Green with blue hair? Maybe they aren't Martians. Did anybody ever take Journalism in school? There is more, but if you don't censor people will get the gist.

Obviously they are afraid that they might be called racist.
