The 54-year-old man who was arrested and charged with public intoxication near Seneca Ridge Middle School on Tuesday was again arrested and charged with public intoxication Wednesday night.
Edgar N. Rivas Arias, 54, of no fixed address, was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond after both incidents, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Around 11:21 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to the 21400 block of Cedar Drive in Sterling for an alarm call at a business. Once on scene, deputies observed an adult male, later identified as Arias, running from the building.
Arias was located nearby in an intoxicated state, according to the LCSO. He was charged with public intoxication for second time in less than 30 hours.
Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Arias was arrested after being found standing in the woods near Seneca Ridge Middle School. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol during that incident, as well.
No children were present during the Seneca Ridge apprehension, according to the sheriff's office.
