Mobile Hope toy drive presents

Wrapped presents await their new owners at the 2019 Mobile Hope Toy & Gift Card Drive.

Mobile Hope began accepting unwrapped toy and gift card donations Thursday in preparation for its eighth annual Toy & Gift Card Drive, which will be Dec. 12.

A nonprofit that serves homeless and at-risk youth in Loudoun County, Mobile Hope expects to serve more than 1,000 children and teens at this year’s event, nearly double the number from last year, officials said Wednesday.

Those wishing to make donations can drop off toys and gift cards at the Mobile Hope office, which is at 741 Miller Drive, SE, Suite F1 in Leesburg.

Donors who would prefer to donate from the comfort of home — either through Amazon Wish List or a financial gift — can do so by visiting

The drive itself will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mobile Hope office in a “COVID-safe,” drive-thru setting, according to officials.

Volunteers can sign up to wrap gifts, decorate the venue or offer other services by emailing

More information on how to support the event through platinum, gold or silver sponsorships is available at or by emailing Mobile Hope Director of Marketing & Community Relations Allyson Ruscitella at
