Reykjavik-based PLAY plans to extend its low-cost, nonstop flights out of Washington Dulles International Airport to Iceland starting in April 2023.

The no-frills airline is enticing travelers away from its competitor IcelandAir, which until April was the only airline in the US and in the greater Washington-Baltimore region offering nonstop flights to Keflavik International Airport in Iceland.
