The Purcellville Town Council voted unanimously in December to appoint nine residents to the town’s Community Policing Advisory Committee.
Times-Mirror/Karen GrahamThe town of Purcellville is hosting a public information meeting regarding the Route 7/690 interchange project on Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. at the town hall.
Town Council is in the process of reviewing the existing floodplain easement within the Catoctin Meadows Homeowners Association open space, as it was established in 1996.
Officials from the Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure (DTCI) will present an overview of the project and will outline its application request to the Town of Purcellville.
Both DTCI and officials from VDOT will be present to answer any questions.
County and VDOT officials will also outline both positive impacts and a mitigation strategy for any associated negative impacts identified to the Town’s open space, flood plain or wetland areas.
