The Loudoun County School Board will host an equity workshop on June 1, according to Loudoun County Public Schools Public Information Officer Wayde Byard.

LCPS Interim Superintendent Scott Ziegler and other administrators "will detail the school division's equity work regarding staff training, instruction, hiring and student outreach," Byard said.

The workshop, titled "A Path Forward Together," will not include public comment, though officials recognized the high "public and media interest" regarding equity in the school system.

"Space in the School Board Meeting Room will be limited on Tuesday," Byard said. He added that written comment will be accepted.

Members of the public will be able to live-stream the workshop on the LCPS website.

"A Path Forward Together" will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LCPS Administrative Building, which is at 21000 Education Ct. in Ashburn.
