The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported sexual assault at a Sterling home in the 120 block of North Duke Drive.

Deputies were called to the residence shortly before midnight on Tuesday after an adult female reported she was awakened by an unknown male who was sexually assaulting her, according to authorities. The victim reported the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. and the suspect fled when she woke up. 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20-years-old with curly dark hair and a slight build. 

The area was searched by members of the sheriff’s office and Virginia State Police.
