Step Up Youth

A Step Up team from a previous year’s competition.

The annual Step Up Loudoun Youth Competition, a program of Loudoun Youth Inc., has opened registration for its March 2021 event.

Since 2010, Step Up has hosted middle- and high-school students competing as individuals or teams to formulate and implement plans to address local issues and improve the community, according to event officials.

Entrants will work on chosen projects with teammates, parents, teachers and school counselors for presentation at next year’s competition, whence 10 teams will advance to the final round.

Those 10 teams will also win prizes between $100 and $1,000.

More details and registration information are available at loudounyouth.org/programs/step-up or by emailing info@loudounyouth.org.
