A Sterling man was arrested in Ashburn early Saturday after an alleged assault, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the 43000 block of Hickory Corner Terrace around 4:08 a.m. and reportedly located a man with upper-body injuries.

Authorities say the victim led the deputies to the scene of the crime, where they located the suspect and took him into custody.

Jorge A. Miranda-Toribio, 37, of Sterling, was charged with assault. He was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center as of Monday afternoon.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, per the LCSO.
