A Sterling man was arrested Sunday after allegedly injuring a female during a domestic altercation, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to reports of an altercation near the 200 block of Giles Place in Sterling around 5:30 a.m. The victim, who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, reportedly knew the suspect.
Henry L. Lopez Estrada, 33, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and assault and battery against a family member.
He was being held Monday at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
