A man was arrested Saturday after allegedly committing armed robbery in Sterling the day before and conspiring to distribute narcotics, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the 46000 block of Woodshire Drive around 7:53 p.m. Friday for a report of an armed robbery.
The complainant reportedly claimed a male with whom he had arranged to meet had robbed him.
Per the LCSO, investigators found the case to be drug-related and identified the victim as Juan Joseph K. Jones, 21, of Sterling.
Authorities arrested the suspect and reportedly recovered a firearm during the investigation.
Jones was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of conspiracy to distribute/sell Schedule IV narcotics.
As of Monday, he remained held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
