A man was arrested in Sterling Saturday night after allegedly brandishing a weapon at and threatening a female, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a report in which the complainant said she had gone to a residence in the 100 block of Harrison Road to retrieve items she had left there.
Upon her arrival, a male whom she knew reportedly confronted her and pointed a firearm at her, later sending her a threatening message.
Deputies located the male suspect at his Sterling address and arrested him.
Dylan M. Jacobs-Dupuis, 20, was charged with brandishing a weapon and threat by communication.
Per the LCSO, he is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
