A man was arrested in Sterling Monday afternoon after allegedly committing several traffic infractions while impaired, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded around 1:56 p.m. to the area of Enterprise Street for a report of a suspicious incident, after which one deputy observed a vehicle driving recklessly.
Though that deputy activated his emergency equipment, the driver did not stop but reportedly accelerated before stopping near the intersection of Enterprise Street and East Holly Avenue.
The driver reportedly left the vehicle and began fleeing on foot but was apprehended shortly thereafter.
Marvin Ordonez, 22, of Sterling, was charged with driving while intoxicated — his second offense — as well as obstructing justice, refusal to provide a breath test, driving without a license, reckless driving, hit-and-run, eluding law enforcement and other infractions.According to the LCSO, Ordonez is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
