Dennis Rotherham mugshot

Dennis J. Rotherham

A man was arrested in Sterling Thursday after allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the 21000 block of Potomac View Road around 12:25 p.m. for reports of a suspicious male in a parking lot entering a vehicle.

After locating the vehicle, the deputies conducted a traffic stop and found the driver to be intoxicated.

Dennis J. Rotherham, 36, of Sterling, was charged with driving while intoxicated — his second offense — and was later released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.

When did noon become the new midnight?

jke

If the ABC stores delivered there would be fewer DUI's.

Gotta love closet drunks, less likely to kill someone.

Maybe Dennis should run for delegate in the 12 District as they elect drunks to the assembly. Was Dennis's blood alcohol more than .085, did he swerve and fail sobriety tests or is it he is not immune because he is not a elected official?

amerigirl

and it was only, as you said .085, so by the time he went for a blood test he would no longer be over the limit. Your always have o find something to blae dems for, this article is not about them so you are again [offtopic]

So drunk driving is OK, as long as the person is a (D)? Wow, that's SERIOUSLY messed up.

amerigirl

Ace twisting that one too. What I said was that he was so close to the legal limit that by the time he got a blood test he would have been sober. That is called a judgement call. Cops make them all the time. AGAIN, this is about a drunk driver in Loudoun, not a pol in Virginia. so AGAIN, you are [offtopic]

You're the one making excuses for a (D)runk (D)river, not me.
