A woman was arrested in Sterling Thursday for alleged possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 4:03 p.m. to a restaurant in the 45900 block of Waterview Plaza where a female was reportedly loitering in the parking lot.
LCSO officials say the woman was found with a Schedule III narcotic and related paraphernalia.
Siri K. Ozdemir, 31, of Sterling, was charged with possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of controlled paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute.
As she was being processed into jail, authorities say Ozdemir was found to have a syringe hidden on her person, leading her to receive an additional charge of introducing an item into a correctional facility that is not approved and could be used as a weapon.
Ozdemir is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
