One of the five suspects charged in a reported Ashburn assault has been determined to have provided authorities with a false identity during the course of his arrest, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Craig James Knight, 26, of Alexandria, initially identified himself as 33-year-old Gregory O. Knight, also of Alexandria. He has been additionally charged with providing false identification to law enforcement and five counts of forging public records.
Knight remained held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond as of Feb. 5.
He, three more adults and one juvenile were arrested in Ashburn Jan. 30 after allegedly being involved in the assault of a man and woman near the intersection of Cambridgeport Square and Wild River Square.
